Monarch Yoga University City: Coming Summer 2026!
Where is Monarch Yoga Opening in University City?
We’re officially coming to West Philly!!! Monarch Yoga has signed a lease at 3421 Walnut Street, right in the heart of University City, just steps from the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, CHOP, and HUP.
We’re so excited to join the Shop Penn Retail District and become part of a neighborhood keeps this city moving!
When is Monarch Yoga University City opening?
We’re aiming for August 2026 opening. As we build out the space and bring everything together, we’ll be sharing updates along the way—so stay connected for the latest.
What will the new studio be like?
If you’ve been to our Kensington or Northern Liberties locations, this space will feel familiar—just with its own University City energy.
You can expect:
A large, sunlit studio space
A very spacious lobby to settle into before and after class
Showers for a post-flow reset (our biggest come up)
A full schedule of classes each week
Our goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, grounded, and easy to step into—whether it’s your first class or part of your weekly routine.
Will you be popping up in University City before the studio opens?
We’ll be popping up around the neighborhood with community Five Dollar Flows starting in May so you can move with us before the doors officially open!

Yoga on the Banks at The Schuylkill Banks River Trail - Meet us on the green space at the 25th and Locust
Mondays & Wednesdays at 6 PM
Fridays from 4 PM
Saturdays & Sundays at 8:30 AM
Clark Park
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6 PM
Saturdays & Sundays at 10 AM
These classes are a chance to meet the community, move outdoors, and get a feel for what we’re building in University City!
